Step 1, teacher shows a board game to students. And say: “I’ve got a new game.”
Then write this sentence on the board. Decoding the meaning of this sentence. Let students read the sentence one by one.
Step 2, teacher play the radio. Let student listen carefully. Then answer how Mike’s feeling is. After listened a part of the story. Students can know Mike is happy. Dad gives a
birthday present to him.
Step 3, go on the tape. They should know Mike is angry. Because of his friends don’t want play

这次课我根据英语《新课程标准》来设计:重视从学生的日常生活出发,培养
学生实际运用语言的能力。我结合学生的生活经验和已有的语言知识来设计富有趣味性、科学性的英语活动,使学生感到身边有英语,用英语能解决生活中的实际问题,从而对英语产生亲切感,增强学生运用英语的意识,培养学生的自主创新能力。
在教“the birthday present”的故事时,我假定了这天是班上某位同学过
生日。首先,以“happy birthday to you”的歌曲开场,引起学生的兴趣。接着送上礼物,模仿课本中的故事进行表演。随后将准备好的问题贴在黑板上,让学生带着问题再看一遍。
