牛津高中英语必修五第二单元Project教学设计

一、教材分析

牛津英语必修五第二单元Project要求学生在学完阅读材料《Protecting the Yangtze

River》后,小组合作写出一篇环保的书面报告。它需要学生对阅读材料进行信息的处理和分析,提炼出书写报告的要素,然后小组中的每个成员承担具体的任务,并要对自己的任务负责,最后通过合作最终完成共同的目标,从而达到提高学生的环保意识,增强保护环境的责任感。而高中英语新课改标准也强调提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。在英语学习的过程中,发展与人沟通和合作的能力,树立正确的人生观、世界观和价值观,增强社会责任感。

基于以上的设计思路,我从两方面入手:一是利用阅读任务,让学生了解文章大意,同

事提炼出报告的基本框架;二是进行英语报告的书写指导。两条教学线索贯穿整个课堂教学,同是也是本堂课的教学目标,最终来实现这个教学任务的三维目标。Not,,just,,watching,,a,,film教学设计

二、教学对象分析

教学对象为高中二年级学生,与高一学年比较起来,他们的听、说、读、写能力已经提

升到了一个新的台阶,甚至是能够用流利的英语任意表达自己的观点想法,他们希望能够将所学的英语技能和综合知识运用到实际生活中去。因此,需要特别注重扩充学生的词汇量,积累各种句式句型,来使他们的英语表达多样化。如果能把课本上所学到的英语知识运用到实际交际中来,然后在实际运用中提高他们学英语的积极性,就能培养他们自主学习去发现问题的能力,也能培养与他人一起合作探究来解决问题的能力。因此,在课堂上应多给予学生机会开口说英语,设计更多趣味性强、操作性强,并能与实际结合的学习活动来让他们积极参与,在课堂教学和活动中培养自己的各种能力,最终达到提高学生英语能力和考试成绩的目的。

三、教学目标

1. 知识与技能

本堂课包含有对阅读材料的处理,从其中获取信息,然后整合信息,最终得到写报告所需要的写作框架。学生在阅读的过程当中理所当然地运用到了以前所学到的阅读方法和技巧,在这个过程中,他们获取新知识和新技能的能力得到了培养;而本课的最终目标是小组合作写一篇有关环境的报告,学生的合作和写作能力也能得到提高。

2. 过程与方法

本堂课主要采取自主学习和探究活动的方式。由于课堂上时间有限,而课堂重点是体现Project的特点。于是我让学生先自主预习完成学案的阅读任务,把握文章大意和文章结构,也是为了更好地开展后面的探究活动。通过自主学习,学生的学习能力和自我解决问题的能力一并得到提高。在课堂上,通过小组讨论,通过集体合作,以探究的方式来获取知识,来发现问题、分析问题,以实现最终解决问题的目的。在整个学习的过程当中,让学生去体验和感悟,要比教师在讲台上一味地传授,效果要好很多。这也是译林牛津高中英语教材的初衷,在学生动手的过程中获得学习的乐趣和成就感。

3. 情感态度和价值

必修五的话题是和谐关系,包括三个单元,分别讲述人与人之间、人与环境以及人与

大自然的关系。本单元是第二单元,课题是The environment,Project内容是有关保护长河的报告。学生对于环保话题十分熟悉,贴近他们的生活。通过学习,学生更一步加深环保的意识,同时也提高了自身参与环保的积极性。高中英语新课改标准也提倡在教学过程中树立Not,,just,,watching,,a,,film教学设计

正确的价值观和情感态度。

四、教学过程设计

L:Oh,what kind of movie is it?

F:It is a very touching movie named Homeless to Harved.

L:Is it an inspirational movie?

F:Yes,it was adopted by biograph.

L:It sounds very interesting,could you tell me more information about it?

F:Of course.The girl lizs was born in a very poor family,her mother rs a drug addict and dies of AIDs when Lizs is 15 years old.

L:Oh,so sad.

F:Yes,and her father comes into the shelter.She becomes homeless.But she doesn't want to life like this.She thinks only knowledge could change her life,so she spents 3 years learning all the high school courses.

L:She is so strong,does shr live on her own?

F:Yes,and then she wins a schoolarship and she makes up her mind to go to Harved to finish her study.
