世界儿童日的英语作文

　　每年4月的第四个星期日为世界儿童日。

　　1986年，土耳其9岁的女学生丰达?卡拉戈兹莱和另一位同学给世界儿童写信说：“我们希望在社区内人人平等相待，我们希望生活在和平的世界中。我们虽然是孩子，也能够改善这个世界。”这封信被送到联合国儿童基金会，又送到联合国代表们的手中，引起强烈反响。同年4月27日被定为“世界儿童日” (World Children's Day) ，同时，丰达?卡拉戈兹莱(funda karagozler) 亦成为该组织的'名誉主席。此后，每年4月的第四个星期日，全世界的儿童代表来到纽约联合国总部，表达他们对更加美好的世界的愿望，讲述他们为自己社区所作的贡献。
