The Benefits of Fulltime Jobs

As we’re going to graduates for college and step into the work field, we’re facing a lot of choices. But mainly we can choose two types of jobs. Some people would like to undertake the part-time extemporaneous jobs while others choose the table fulltime jobs. Depending on different value, people might make different decision. As far as I’m concerned, I would prefer a fulltime job.

To begin with, extemporaneous jobs’ welfare is not so good as fulltime jobs’. For example, the enterprise would buy the official staff insurance and pension, at the end of every year, they will also distribute bonus to encourage the whole employee so as they can work harder next year. However, the extemporaneous jobs employees won’t have such a welfare condition and they can only gain salary as the official staff does. Judging from this aspect, fulltime jobs have much more benefit than part-time jobs. Second, extemporaneous jobs are not as stable as fulltime jobs. Every time when the economic crisis came, there will be a brunch of people lost their jobs, let alone the extemporaneous worker. What’s worse, they’re harder to find another job as they lack the experience as an official staff. As the result, they probably continue to find part-time job when the crisis going on. In China, competition is getting fierce. Many people contest a position of recruitment fair. The majority of job seekers are keen to the stable jobs.

Third but not the last, fulltime jobs can realize the value of life well. We have many ideals when we’re young, maybe correspondent, maybe policeman, maybe musician and so on. But we never hear a person who does extemporaneous jobs can be hired to undertake above occupations. It’s not easy to find a decent official fulltime job. If we can, then we can realize the value of life and be honored after retired. Such as a teacher, standing on the platform for more than thirty years, can you imagine how many students he or she had taught? Many students acquired knowledge through the teacher’s classes. Such a meaningful occupation is not a part-time job at all.

Extemporaneous jobs can earn a lot of money in the short term. At the meanwhile, we might gain less benefit when doing such a type of job. I think a good job doesn’t depend on how much money you earn, but how much value you can realize, that is the most important point.

Should China Loosen Its One-child Policy?

Due to the effort of One-child Policy carried for decades, the latest population survey shows that the total population is 1.3 billion or so. The China government gained a very good score on this affair. However, as a young Chinese, I don’t support this policy. It’s high time for our government to loosen the policy.

I want to talk from the Chinese convention. The old saying “More children, more happiness” can present most Chinese’s desire to have more children. The government always condemn the USA’s human right report about China. But the citizen maybe will support the report as the couple don’t have a right to have no more than one child. The the law going to be more consummate, it will certainly to give the people such a right to have more children. Without any wonder, the society construction will be a free and democratic state.

The officers might say, the large population will restrict the economic construction. Yes, in a way, such a opinion is considerable, but as the living expense for more than one child is increasing rapidly, not every parent can raise more than one child, so the major part of citizen would not give birth to more children. I come from a small city, the birth rate has decreased during the past 10 years. The young couple are not high educated, but they have learned that the situation is not optimistic.

We can learn something from our neighbor country Japan, today’s Japan is facing the situation of lacking young labor force, as a result, the manufactures have to set the factories outside Japan, eventually, a product became higher, people have to pay more money on their daily things. And meanwhile, the old people will be the country’s burden. We can see that one child to support the old parents is very stressful. It will worse if employ rate is decreasing. So what would the government do at that time?

One-child policy has been out of date, Mr. Deng Xiaoping said the communism society construction should keep pace with the times. We can’t cling to outdated customs. We need a free and democratic country, we want the old people to be happier with more children, we can develop our country in a more healthy way. In a word, it’s wise decision if China loosens the One-child Policy, I believe our country will become more prosperous from that moment on.
